Betty Geishirt Cantrell recently retired as the Senior Director of SparkPoint Contra Costa, where she served for nearly 14 years. With a robust background in the nonprofit sector and advanced degrees, including a Masters of Social Work and an MBA, Betty has been instrumental in developing procedures and driving organizational success, establishing herself as a seasoned leader in community-focused initiatives.

Throughout her career, Betty has held various roles that reflect her unwavering commitment to serving the community. Her involvement with the Pleasant Hill Community Foundation, both as a Director and in several Officer positions over the years, allows her to continue her passion for strengthening local organizations and supporting programs that make a lasting impact.

Outside of her professional work, Betty enjoys wine tasting, cooking, and competing with her award-winning BBQ team. She brings the same energy and commitment to community service as she does to creating memorable shared experiences through food and fellowship.
